Cellulite
Cellulite is an alteration caused by the accumulation of fat, water and toxins in adipose cells, causing these cells to become full and hardened, leaving the affected area with unevenness (ripples and retractions) and even nodules.
It is caused by changes in the fatty tissue under the skin, together with changes in microcirculation and consequent increase in the thickness of the fibrous tissue.
Its most common external manifestation is the unwanted “depression” on the surface of the skin, which is also called “orange peel”.
